I would like to share some my Feldenkrais lessons with you. Please understand that unlike conventional exercises, a Feldenkrais lesson is done gently and slowly, with awareness not to hurt yourself. Instead of trying to do your best, try to make the movement free and easy and painless. If you feel any pain or discomfort, STOP. Reduce the size, speed and effort of what you're doing in an attempt to do what is asked without pain. Some find it easier to imagine themselves as a skeleton during a lesson. For them it reduces the complexity of the movement to basic levers, which helps clarify exactly what is happening within themselves as they move. If that doesn't work, simply do the movement in your imagination, as this can have profound effects. Good luck and enjoy the pain relief these videos can provide.
